Body Worn Cameras

The Body Worn Camera (BWC) will be worn by uniformed members assigned to the Field Operations Section while performing patrol-related duties.  The BWC shall be positioned on the outer clothing and placed within the upper torso/chest area ensuring the BWC recording capability is not obstructed.  The attached photos are of the current BWC employed by the New Jersey State Police and show examples of where it may be placed on a trooper’s uniform.
