Pre-Employment Preparation Program (PEPP)

PEPP I is designed to assist and familiarize applicants with the required exercises for the PQT. Former recruits have indicated that their participation in PEPP I helped prepare them for the PQT. Early registration may ensure placement in your selected PEPP I session. Since PEPP I sessions do fill early, it is strongly recommended that you register for this voluntary program as soon as possible. Participation in PEPP I is encouraged.

PEPP II is a structured program offered to those applicants who have received a Conditional Offer of Employment and are in the final stages of the Applicant Selection Process. Each PEPP II session will feature physical training sessions that will demonstrate how to increase cardiovascular endurance and upper body strength. There will also be sessions dedicated to swimming and water safety. Basic military movements and commands will also be demonstrated to assist with proper military bearing. All applicants must attend a minimum of two PEPP II sessions (one of which must be a swim session). All applicants are encouraged to attend as many PEPP II sessions as possible.
